Fuerteventura worldcup 2011 is closed for freestyle. Again we had a really nice event, not much wind at the time of competition but still cool conditions. I finished on 33th position, which is not the result i wanted and I will 100% discard it at the end of the year. The winner was Steven Van Broeckhoven who is also the new world champion already. There is one event left, in Sylt and I will really do my best to improve my results. Now I am heading to Egypt where we will have 2 weeks of windsurf camps then the real adventure starts :) new crazy trip, new videos, new riders...I will tell you more about it in 10 days :)

First day was just the registration day. We prepared everything for competition and went for a short warming up session. The conditions at the moment are not so promising so it will be hard to preform all the big moves. Fingers crossed for good wind next days...

After 2 weeks of sailing the wind is not giving us a brake... 3.7 every day, sometimes is it drops a bit, 4.1 OVERpowered. The Rodeo 98l is a "little" bit too big for conditions we have, but I can handle it well :) There is a lot of action, a lot of crashing, but everybody smiling, having fun and screaming when sick move is landed. Of course Kuma crash 2 is on the way too, hehe. A lot of footage caught on the time, we are just looking for a photographer to show you some pics in action :) . Enjoy summer and don't forget on windsurf camps in Dahab, Egypt on 30.7.

After a finished double elimination on Lanzarote, where I finished on 25th place which is my worst result this year, we took a ferry and try to get fast to Fuerte. We had some bad luck with this... Ian and me had to take taxi to the Port and we almost missed the ferry. After that we arrived ( Ian, Quincy, Bjorn, Andro and me) to the North of Fuerteventura with 12 boardbags and tried to rent a car or to which will fit all the gear... Not possible... :P No car, taxi was waaaay to expensive so we decided to catch the bus. Hehehe... First few drivers were super gay! They didn't want to take the gear even if there was loads of space... Finally there was a driver with good heart and we put like six boardbags or more. Of course we had to split and take 2-3 busses... Problems again... We split and after 5h we found each other in Costa Calma, where we had to go. All good at the end... the cheapest transport so far but it took us the whole day, hehe... crazy... Now it's time for action.... The wind is nuclear, 3.7 sails in use and it's too much... Check out for the pics soon...Action already caught on track ;)
